SF SCRUMP ZINE / by David Beyerlein

A few months ago, I planned a long layover in San Francisco to surprise a good friend, Griffin Kettler. In gratitude for hosting, and as an homage to Evyn Morgan’s SCRUMP photo collective she organized in undergrad, I produced a zine of the weekend. A video is below, and if interested, you can purchase the zine here.

Banana Slugs. Fast Food. Hunks. What else should a photo book contain? We all get caught up in the rigidity and notions of everyday obligations that we forget to enjoy the mundane, the norms and the little things. SCRUMP is an art collective that began between students at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) lead by Evyn Morgan, showcasing the beauty of life and friendship; ranging from diving boards to sex symbol, Robert Deitchler. SF SCRUMP is an exploration of devotion and extent of the lives of Griffin Kettler and Erich Fiederer in the San Francisco neighborhood of Bernal Heights, as told by David Beyerlein.
